Qilin Keeper

Small paws. Big feelings.
Feed, groom, play, or take a cloud ride with an affectionate little menace. A courtyard to make your own, and a little someone always happy to see you.

Playing with your qilin and keeping your cassette

A little someone with very definite opinions

Your qilin is an affectionate little creature in a lantern-lit courtyard. Start with whatever catches your eye: offer a snack, hold a cheek, brush that colorful mane, or see what happens when a raised paw meets a nearby bowl. The game is about learning familiar gestures and enjoying the reactions, not clicking through a story.

The same paw can be an invitation to a high-five and a warning about anything within swatting distance. Watch the baby as well as the objects around him. Moving a bowl out of reach does not mean you have to miss the affection; it just gives you somewhere safer to put the snack.

Feeding, drinking, and affection

Bring the bowl toward the mouth to offer food, or use F while the game has focus. An empty bowl can be refilled. The moon cup is for drinking: J offers a drink and U moves the cup. Pay attention to where you leave things when that little paw starts to rise.

Meet the raised paw for a high-five, or hold the cheek for affection. Not every moment needs another activity. Let the baby lean into your hand and enjoy the quiet reaction before reaching for the next tool. The care interactions are there to explore at your own pace.

Cleaning a spill is different from a bath

Use the cloth for the baby and the mop for the floor. They are separate tools for separate surfaces: cleaning the courtyard is not the same job as wiping a sticky paw. The cloth shortcut is W, the mop is V, and G collects spilled food. Follow the message inside the game if you are not sure what is still left to clean.

Routine grooming has its own tools. Choose the brush with T, or use the bath tools shown beside the courtyard. Brushing and bathing are a chance to spend time with the qilin, rather than a replacement for clearing a mess. Press Escape to put down the current care tool when you want to do something else.

Play, rest, and a cloud outing

Choose Ball, or press L, for toy play. Choose Nap, or press N, for a quieter change of pace. Use the instructions inside each activity; the courtyard controls do not all apply while another activity is open. Finish the activity or put the toy away before starting a cloud ride.

The Cloud ride button, also available with Y, takes the baby out with those square sunglasses and that very important windbreaker. Follow the flight controls shown in the game. A first flight and a first landing can become little memories on the cassette, rather than tasks you must repeat every time you visit.

Open the cassette case with its button or K to see the stickers you have earned and arrange them on the tape. The keepsakes remember outings you have actually experienced. There is no need to turn every familiar interaction into a hunt for the next reward; a good ball ambush is still a good ball ambush.

Click or tap inside the game before using keyboard shortcuts. Buttons remain available in the game itself. Sound and pause controls are at the top, and reduced motion can be changed inside the courtyard. Reduced motion changes how things move, not whether the baby can enjoy care, play, or affection.

Keep your little collection

Save your stickers and cassette design to your free account, and bring them along when you visit from another device. The action below the game is Save my cassette. This release saves the earned stickers and their placement and rotation on the cassette; it does not promise to save a customized courtyard, furniture, or a named pet.

Guests can enjoy the same game without creating an account. Guest keepsakes are saved in this browser when browser storage is available. Clearing browser data, using another browser, or moving to a different site address can leave that local copy behind. The game does not take gifts away, but browser-local storage is not an account backup.

The cassette panel provides export and import options for a backup, including a way to bring a cassette from an earlier preview. Keep the exported file somewhere you can find it again. A different device or site address cannot automatically read the local storage from the browser where you originally played.

If you sign in and both this browser and your account already have a cassette, compare the previews before choosing which version to keep. Signing in alone is not a confirmation that a save reached the server. Wait for the panel to confirm the account save, and keep a backup if saving is unavailable or you want an extra copy.

My corner is home to the cassette you have actually saved and a way to visit your qilin again. Visiting days do not need to be consecutive. Your keepsakes are yours to keep, and the courtyard is here when you feel like coming back.
